A Hertford County man employed as a truck driver received the policy limits of $300,000 the week before trial. Attorneys Lloyd Smith and Peggy Smith represented the local man on a wreck occurring in 2012. The Defendant pulled into an intersection in broad daylight without proper lookout causing a wreck with the Plaintiff that caused significant damage to his neck. The Defendant had contended the injuries suffered by the Plaintiff were not significant, however the Defendant offered his insurance limits the week before trial.
